Joey Grillo

Entertainer, Singer, Songwriter, Drummer with the ability to incorporate Guitar, Piano and Harmonica into his performances has been writing, recording and entertaining audiences for many years throughout the country.

As a strong singing drummer, Joey Grillo took the next step to front man vocalist, for many 90’s touring bands. This led to being recognized by Rolling Stone Magazine with a feature story, March 1999 issue, radio interviews and newspaper write ups. By 2005, performing as Roger Daltrey, in a tribute to The Who, took Joey to the stage in the Musical Rock Opera “Quad”, produced by Bill Aucoin.

Entrepreneurial Success: Opening Wall of Sound Studios in California and Las Vegas

2008 brought Joey Grillo a whole new musical adventure with the opening of Joey’s Full Service Music Facility, Wall of Sound Studios, in Southern California. This gave him the opportunity to share his love and passion for the music industry with others. With much success, as an entrepreneur and entertainer, Joey opened a second Wall of Sound Studios location in Las Vegas in 2013.

Las Vegas Residency and Corporate Events: A Strong Presence on the Strip

Since then, Joey Grillo has had a strong presence in Las Vegas performing up and down the Las Vegas Strip including performing on Fremont Street, a residency at Station Casinos with Rebel Soul, charity fundraisers, as well as private and major corporate events, which include Photoshop, Discovery Channel’s Velocity Live and annual convention SEMA, which he wrote the 2015 theme song for.

In addition to performing as a solo artist and in his band Rebel Soul, from 2017 to 2022 Joey joined the number one Aerosmith Tribute band, Aeromyth, as its drummer.

Florida Bound: Opening Wall of Sound Studios in Daytona Beach

His latest venture brought him to Florida in 2021, when he opened Wall of Sound Studios in Daytona Beach. Stepping into today, he continues to write, record and tour as a Solo artist, with his band Rebel Soul, as well as joining Hometown Petty – The Full Tom Petty Experience and operating Wall of Sound Studios Florida. His passion as an entertainer, drives him to embark on new opportunities. Joey Grillo can be found throughout the country, always ready to entertain fans and audiences.
